Centre Rendezvous

Last Centre Rendezvous before the Summer Break:
Wednesday 18th July.
We return on Wednesday 12th September.

In the meantime, join us at a Wednesday morning coffee morning in August. For more information, see our events page.

In July 2011, St Michael's launched "Centre Rendezvous", which aims to provide a weekly meeting place for the whole community, with the opportunity of having an inexpensive lunch as well.

It was the idea of our Parish Priest, Lorraine McGregor, whose vision was to provide a place where people could meet on a weekly basis, find company, and enjoy a good simple lunch, with plenty of home cooking, at reasonable prices.

Centre Rendezvous is staffed by volunteers from St Michael's Church who work in the kitchen, serve visitors and who make the cakes and soups that are generally available. The current menu and prices are left (March 2018).

We have been supported in the venture by POPPS (Partnership for Older People Projects), an organisation which is funded through the Department of Health and which provides some financial support to this type of venture. This provided initial equipment that was required.
