Card Making for South Sudan
By Jill Beech
A photo of the loyal band of card makers who meet up about once a month to make Greetings cards and Christmas cards which we sell to raise money to send out to Karika and Yambio. Thanks to their amazing efforts we were able to give Sheila Soper over £1800 to take out when she recently visited South Sudan in November 2019. All the cards are made by remounting the front of used cards onto new card, thus also helping the environment by recycling. We always find time to stop for a cuppa and John Spatchet frequently keeps us well supplied with cake! I am so grateful to everyone, those who give us with old used cards, those who make the cards and to all those who buy them too. Without you all none of this would be possible.
