CHAIRS PROJECT

Good news!  We took delivery today of 120 new chairs and they look absolutely fantastic!   IMG 3908

We have managed to sell the remaining old chairs which are being collected on Monday, so the church will look its best after the old chairs have gone.  We have included 12 chairs with arm rests which have been placed at the end of each row (aisle end), to help those who are less physically able.  The photo does not do it justice, so come along and see for yourselves. There is still an opportunity to make donations to this project - if you are interested please contact our treasurer, Alan Motson - stmichaels.treasurer.colehill@gmail.com

PUBLIC NOTICE - ELECTRICAL WORKS PERMISSIONS
As part of our ongoing reordering project, we are in the final stages of obtaining faculty permission to go ahead with the installation of additional electrical sockets in church.  A public notice is on display in church and in the church centre, for the statutory notice period of 30 days.  Details of the project are available to view in the Church Centre, or contact Alan Motson, Treasurer (details above)

A Prayer for Ukraine

God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine today.
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or peace,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Amen

Archbishop Stephen Cottrell
