Welcome to St Michael and All Angels Church website. We hope that you can find out all you may like to know about our church here.
CORONAVIRUS: Please be advised that following the government announcement on 27 November we are now making the wearing of masks in church compulsory unless unless exempt for health or other reasons. Social distancing measures have been eased, but you can indicate you prefer to socially distance by placing a card on the seat next to you. Do please continue to sanitise your hands on entry/exit. Congregational singing has now resumed (with masks on for now), and we are now administering communion in both kinds (the Priest dips the wafer in the chalice observing strict hygiene protocols and administers into the hand - please sanitise your hands before receiving communion.) If you feel at all unwell for any reason please do remain at home and watch the service which continues to be livestreamed.
THE CHURCH CENTRE IS NOW OPEN AGAIN FOR HIRERS
The Church Centre is now open for any groups or individuals who are permitted to use the Centre under the current guidance on the lifting of lockdown restrictions. Please contact our Bookings Administrator for further information at email@example.com
FACULTY APPLICATION - CHAIRS
Notice is hereby given that we have received a Notification of Advice from Salisbury DAC and are now progressing to the final stages of obtaining faculty permission to replace the chairs in church.
The statutory public notices are now on display in the Church and the Church Centre, and full documentation is available to any parishioner to review during the 30 day notice period. A file is available in Church and in the Church office for inspection.
We would ask please that you do not take these away.
The documentation may be viewed on this website - click here

Following the easing of restrictions on 19th July there are now no limitations on arrangements for baptism, weddings or funerals, but we are continuing to encourage track and trace and the wearing of face coverings in church at these services, unless exempt. Special arrangements are in place for any who remain cautious about social distancing.
