Experience Church 2020 

Each year we have approximately 150 pupils from St Michael's Middle School Year 5 come to Experience Church. This year, with Covid restrictions, we had to do much of it online, with activities in the classroom; but small groups came in to the church for a short activity thinking about Jesus and the Storm at Sea.

They thought about their journey through life and how we can know peace even when we are anxious or afraid. 

They placed their worry boats at Jesus feet and we lit tea lights in their decorated jars representing their lives - shining their light in the world.

We borrowed a small boat to carry the light recognising that we journey with others and that we can all discover light to guide us through our life journey.
