The Sunday PAUSE :)
When is the Sunday PAUSE?
The Sunday PAUSE takes place in the Church Centre
on the first Sunday each month (except August) at 10.30am.
What's Cafe Church?
Cafe Church is a relaxed, informal and short gathering around tables where we meet for half an hour to discover what life is all about, and refreshments are served.
The Sunday PAUSE is run by St Michael and All Angels.
Everyone is welcome, so come and find what it's like. We'd love to see you.
Why is it called the Sunday PAUSE?
We know that time is precious. Our cafe church is called the Sunday PAUSE as we are asking you to take a pause, relax and join us at our monthly short café church.
Who is the Sunday PAUSE for?
We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, widowed or divorced, gay, confused, filthy rich, comfortable or dirt poor.
We welcome wailing babies, excited toddlers and fidgeting children. We welcome tweens who think they know everything, and teens who are growing up too fast.
We welcome those over sixty who haven't grown up yet, tired parents, those whose children have flown the nest, those looking for company. We welcome vegetarians, meat-lovers, day dreamers, tree-huggers, chocolate lovers and coffee cravers.
We don't care if you haven't been to Church since Christmas ten years ago, we welcome you. We welcome the seekers and doubters, and those who just can't find the time to fit Church in.
We welcome YOU. Take a PAUSE :)
